I have had the unique pleasure of leading as Medical Director

to successfully launch a new thriving Bariatric Surgical program on track for center of excellence distinction. Compassion, support staff feedback loop, continued process improvement, patient empathy and medical business acumen have led to high satisfaction reviews. I also maintained minimal take backs/ operating room complications and overwhelming referrals and support from local patient population. My training included advanced GI minimally invasive surgery fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University under Dr. John Hunter. This included Robotic Surgery.

I completed general surgery residency in 2019 at the University of Cincinnati,

an academic, tertiary care, Level 1 trauma center. During that time, I completed a two-year research fellowship under a R01 grant studying a murine model of biliary atresia. I published papers and presented my work at several national meetings with podium presentations. By the end of my residency, I have excelled at delivering care to critically ill patients and completing elective advanced level laparoscopic operations. My qualifications and love for Minimally Invasive Surgery led me to thoroughly enjoy what I do, especially due to wide breadth of cases including complex foregut and bariatric surgeries. In addition to continuing advancement of my surgical skills, I’ve also had the opportunity to participate as a member in multidisciplinary tumor board. I have gained significant exposure to advanced minimally invasive surgical techniques as well as advanced endoscopic procedures.
